As you prepare your favorite battle station with meticulously re-fluffed cushions and greasy finger foods for 11 more precious hours of weekend football binging, kick off your NFL Sunday with the handful of things you need to know to get it all started:

Kentucky beats Murray State, 48-10

Behind 163 yards in the air and 80 yards on the ground from quarterback Terry Wilson, Kentucky cruised past Murray State 48-10 on Saturday afternoon at Kroger Field. The Wildcats outscored the Racers 31-7 in the second half to put the FCS' Ohio Valley Conference in-state foe away for good.

Kentucky is 3-0 for the second consecutive season

With the win over Murray State, Kentucky opens the season 3-0 for the second straight year. According to Jen Smith of the Lexington Herald-Leader, the Wildcats have accomplished the feat just 10 previous times since 1950.

The new AP Top 25 poll comes out today

There is a chance next week's primetime showdown between the Cats and Mississippi State could be a battle of ranked opponents. Mississippi State will likely improve upon its No. 16 ranking when the latest AP Top 25 poll is released on Sunday afternoon after a 56-10 drumming of Louisiana. Kentucky received 19 votes in last week's poll, but could vault its way into the Top 25 if voters take notice of the team's hot start.

Quinton Bohanna likely to play versus Mississippi State

Mark Stoops says sophomore nose guard Quinton Bohanna has been "close" to returning to the field after injuring his ankle a little over a week ago in Kentucky's 27-16 win over Florida. Bohanna was held out of the Wildcats' tune-up with Murray State, but Stoops "expects to have him back” for next Saturday's clash with Mississippi State.
