[caption id="attachment_255473" align="aligncenter" width="2293"] Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports[/caption] Good morning, folks. Let me be the first to wish you a happy Super Bowl Sunday. If you've been living under a rock, the young Los Angeles Rams will take on the dynasty that is the New England Patriots in tonight's game on CBS. You know how the drill works, there will be nationwide coverage leading up to kickoff then, of course, the spectacle itself around 6:00 pm ET. It's the greatest Sunday in football, but also a bittersweet Sunday as it officially marks the end of the 2018 football season and what a good season it was. My prediction (more so wishful thinking) is the Rams win this one 30-26. MVP prediction: CJ Anderson...it's a really good thing I don't gamble often. If you aren't hosting or attending a party, there's this great little place called KSBar that will have you covered. Let's get it started.

The Cats Find a Way to Win

Kentucky does it again. It's one of the most cliche phrases in sports, "good teams find a way to win," and the Cats did just that. After a half-hearted first half, the Cats found themselves down four, and that deficit would balloon to seven a few minutes into the 2nd half, but Kentucky hit the big shots when they needed to pull it out in a harsh road environment. While this team wasn't clicking on all cylinders, it was fun to watch each players' personality play a role in this victory. Tyler Herro feeding off the hate, Keldon Joshnon playing with that dog in him, and PJ Washington getting gritty with his back against the wall. Then how could we forget Brad signing the Florida fans' posters? In my honest opinion, the ultimate flex. As I said a week ago, this team is about to do something special, and they become more fun to watch by the game.

Kentucky Football Commerical

Even if you have no interest in the big game tonight, I know you have an interest in Kentucky football. You're reading this. So at halftime, the great folks at KYWildcatsTV have crafted another great hype video recapping last years historic season, while getting you geared up for the 2019 version of our Cats. Kentucky football has killed the Super Commerical the last five years, and this year should be no different. Here's a compilation of the previous super bowl commercials to give you a taste of what you might see tonight. When the commercial airs, Kash Daniel has a special request for you:

It's the Women's turn to beat Florida

After two narrow losses last week, the lady Cats will get their shot at beating the Gators today at Rupp Arena at 2 PM. If you go to the game you will get some free pom poms, and who doesn't love those? If you aren't attending the game, however, you will be able to watch on ESPN U.

NC State Can't Score

Poor Braxton Beverly. It's not often a Kentucky Sports media outlet writes about NC State, hell this might even be the first time on KSR, but when a nationally ranked D1 collegiate basketball team only scores 24 points in a 40 minute basketball game, it's something to behold. The Wolfpack shot just 17% from the floor, and it was the lowest amount of points in the ACC since the start of the shot clock era. Image result for andre 3000 ice cold

Sweet Victory

The Super Bowl halftime has been full of amazing moments over the years. From Michael Jackson popularizing the annual concert at intermission while spreading the love of world peace, Beyonce tearing it down in 2013, Lady Gaga's theatrics, then, of course; the best halftime moment of all, Prince performing purple rain in the pouring rain. Just perfect. This year's super bowl? Maroon Five (and the crowd goes mild). Despite the NFL's attempts to spice this show up with the eccentric Travis Scott and hip-hop legend Big Boi, this halftime show will likely be miserable. But, it has been rumored that Maroon Five will give tribute to Spongebob Squarepants with the performance of Sweet Victory, and that alone may redeem this super bowl performance. If you're wondering what sweet victory is, enjoy:

Boogie Killed Kyle Kuzma

You know what, for once, Clay Travis is right. Arrest this man. Just downright disgusting and disrespectful boog. That mug...sheeeeeeeesh.
Go Cats, go Rams.
