[caption id="attachment_222478" align="alignnone" width="3264"] Sunday sunset on Lake Cumberland (Not pictured: Trash in the water)[/caption] Good morning, friends. How are we feeling after the three-day weekend? Struggling? Don’t worry – it’ll get better. Drink more coffee and read the news in today’s top 10. You’ll be back to your productive, hard-working self in no time. Hope you had a good weekend!   1. Lexington to host NCAA regional. Cliff Hagan Stadium will play host to the NCAA tournament this coming weekend after Kentucky was one of 16 schools selected to host the regional round. The postseason games, Lexington’s first since 2006, will take place Friday, June 2 through Monday, June 5. Top-seeded Kentucky drew Ohio to open the tournament on Friday afternoon. No. 2 seed Indiana and No. 3 seed NC State will play in the second game that night. First pitch for UK's first game is Friday at noon and can be seen on ESPNU. 2. The Predators lost Game 1. Last night's Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals didn't go as planned for fans of the Nashville Predators. After falling down 3-0 at Pittsburgh, the Preds climbed back to tie it up late in the third period, but the Penguins added two more late in the final minutes to take the game and the early lead in the series. Nashville was the better team; Pittsburgh won. It sucked. Bandwagon fans feel pain too. 3. Cam Johnson visited North Carolina. While you were getting in one last boat trip and round of burgers out of the grill on Monday, Cam Johnson was on his visit to UNC. The Tar Heels basketball program is believed to be high on Johnson's list, but a restriction placed on his transfer by Pitt is making it really hard for him to make the decision. He can play right away if he goes anywhere outside the ACC, but a commitment to UNC means another year without basketball. So what will he do? 4. Immanuel Quickley down to four schools. Five-star point guard Immanuel Quickley trimmed his list to four on Monday, leaving only Kentucky, Kansas, Maryland and Miami in contention for his services. He eliminated Duke, Providence and Virginia from his list of seven. Quickley isthe No. 2 point guard and the No. 9 overall player in the the 2018 247Sports Composite. 5. Lakers Nation podcast debates Fox v. Ball for the second pick. A Los Angeles Lakers podcast spent some time discussing De'Aaron Fox and Lonzo Ball on its latest episode. You can listen to the debate here. If you're too busy to listen, just know that we're not the only ones who believe Magic Johnson should really consider taking Fox over Ball. 6. Bloodline and House of Cards are back. Netflix is earning its $9.99 this month with new seasons of Bloodline and House of Cards. The former came out on Friday and took up a lot of my Monday afternoon/evening; the latter began streaming in the wee hours of the morning and I can't wait to get started on it. 7. KSR Night with the Lexington Legends was a blast. Thanks again to the Legends for having us out Friday night to throw out the first pitch and to take over the PA system for an inning. We had a blast bouncing around the ballpark while taking in the Legends action, despite the disappointment in Tim Tebow not playing. We'd also like to give a big thank you to all of the KSR readers and listeners who came out to see us, and I hope we didn't embarrass ourselves too much in the dance off. https://twitter.com/DrewFranklinKSR/status/868272304400347141 Can't take Ryan anywhere. 8. Who ya got? Cavs or Warriors?
survey services
Game 1 is Thursday night. 9. USA Basketball Men’s U19 training camp list to be released soon. We thought we'd get the names of the players attending the U19 training camp over the weekend, but that did not happen. The list should be coming out soon though, maybe today or tomorrow. Immanuel Quickley and Romeo Langford are two guys reportedly scheduled to attend. 10. KSR radio is back in action today. We're back on air this morning after a break on Monday for the holiday. So tune in to hear Matt Jones, Ryan Lemond, Shannon The Dude and me discuss the weekend and what's ahead.
