Tweet Beat: Olympic Fever!

Mrs. Tyler Thompsonabout 9 years

As part of the never-ending quest to bring you University of Kentucky news in the most ridiculous manner possible, I comb the Twitter-verse each week for the funniest, oddest, and sometimes, nearly illegible tweets from your favorite players and personalities. Basically, I read Twitter so you don’t have to. Without further ado, here are the best tweets of the week. Do you have Olympic fever? Me too, so much so that I actually watched Fencing today. Don't worry, we're not alone: your favorite former Cats are enjoying the games as well. Here are some of their favorite sports: TABLE TENNIS: (WOMEN'S) BEACH VOLLEYBALL: GYMNASTICS SWIMMING BEACH...CYCLING? TRACK AND FIELD EATING Jon Hood need an intro song, people. Get to work. Here's my suggestion: Not to sound like a total mom, but Willie, be careful: Alex, I believe it's "TWANY inch blades." SMH...rookies. But, I enjoy seeing tweets like this: Suddenly, my old Target gym bag seems pretty pathetic: Of course John Wall and Michael Phelps tweet each other. Ramel Bradley is clearly Team Edward: And this is why I love Perry Stevenson: TMI, Jorts, TMI... Things that make sense in life: Derek Anderson being Homecoming King. Speaking of Derek, he stopped by Jodie Meeks' basketball camp last week. #lafamilia Please tell me there's a double basketball-related meaning to Jodie's shirt. Otherwise, not sure it's the best thing to wear to a children's basketball camp... Raise your hand if you're excited for this! I ask myself this about people everyday: Frog gigging? Can someone explain? Maxwell Smith's got the right attitude about this year's schedule: I'm sorry, is there an age limit at Two Keys now? #ohboyd That is random. It was too hard to pick just one "Bookie Tweet of the Week" this go around, so I picked two (I love making the rules). Both show Bookie is more than ready to play some football: I sure hope so. Until next time, RT plz?
