College Station was rocking after Texas A&M’s win over Kentucky Saturday night and two Texas A&M players celebrated to the point they got caught. Texas A&M freshman guards J.J. Caldwell and Jay Jay Chandler were arrested early Sunday on charges of marijuana possession (less than two ounces), and, in Caldwell’s case, speeding. As a result, Caldwell has been dismissed from team, while Chandler is suspended indefinitely.

Caldwell averaged 3.0 points and 2.5 assists per game and started five games for the Aggies this season. This is far from his first offense. After sitting out last season due to academics, Caldwell was arrested for a DUI in May and has been suspended multiple times for violating team rules. Chandler has started four games and is averaging four points per game.
