Two Kentucky Wildcats have been named Midseason All-Americans by the Associated Press. Josh Allen was a second team selection halfway through the 2017 season.  This year the AP named Allen to the first team after the senior outside linebacker recorded 6 sacks (4th in the SEC) and 10.5 tackles for loss (1st in the SEC) through the first six games of the season. Benny Snell was a second team selection by the AP, behind Wisconsin's Jonathan Taylor and Memphis' Darrell Henderson.  Snell leads the SEC in yards per game with 116.5.  Chasing Sonny Collins for the most rushing yards in school history, Snell can eclipse the mark if he averages 136.2 yards per game in the final six games of the 2018 regular season.
