Vincent Aldrich has been stuck in the Arabian Sea for three months, but that hasn’t kept him from following Kentucky’s magical season. Like you, he’s on pins and needles right now, awaiting the decisions of Kentucky’s starting five. And he wants today’s very brief notes and podcast…

— It won’t be long before we’re twelve scoops deep into a tub of Rocky Road with tissues all over the floor, saying goodbye to five of the guys who brought the national title back to Kentucky. All five players are expected to announce that they’ll enter this summer’s NBA Draft, when they gather around the microphones at the Joe Craft Center later this evening. — Tonight’s press conference will be aired on ESPNews, ESPNU, and ESPN3. ESPNews will have live coverage during the 7:00 p.m. edition of SportsCenter while ESPNU and ESPN3 air the presser in its entirety.

— In case you were wondering, the press conference was pushed back because of unforeseen travel arrangements and academic schedules. Pat Forde thinks that is funny:

And he wonders why everyone in his homestate hates him.

— Watch Beisner and Perrin discuss UK’s NBA projections on KSTV:

— We’ll be live blogging tonight’s press conference beginning at 6:45 p.m. Join us here for a fun discussion while you watch five of your favorite people announce their decisions at 7:00 p.m.
