John Calipari made another "Lexycast" today, and this one concerned the second day of practice for UK on the way to their Canada trip. According to Calipari,
he was pleasantly surprised by all that is happening on the way to Canada. Calipari mentioned that he was shocked with the skill level shown by Stacey Poole, the athleticism of Brandon Knight, the skill set of Enes Kanter and the quickness of Doron Lamb. In short, Calipari was like the crowds at the Ray Stevens/Ronnie Milsap double feature shows in Branson, Missouri...easily pleased. The Coach said he is looking forward to working with the team and he thinks they will grow together on this trip.
He also mentioned that
Terrence Jones is only about 75% right now with an ankle injury, but he wants to make sure he can get on the court when it comes time for the Canada trip.
