The Nation Will See A LOT of UK This Season

We aren't yet sure what to expect out of this year's basketball team. I'd say you can count on ice cream being pooped at some point and Calipari mentioning how young the Cats are before mentioning how much he "likes his team." Those are constants. Another constant? The Cats on national TV. A whole lot.  As most of you probably saw, Coach Cal tweeted the above photo of the schedule along with game times and TV coverage on Friday. While there are many games to get excited about on the schedule this year (for me, a Lipscomb graduate, I'm excited for Dec. 15th), you can also be excited if you aren't lucky enough to make it to the games. The Cats will play 21 games on national TV. They will play on CBS five times, the ESPN family of networks sixteen times, and the SEX SEC Network five times. While most fans in Kentucky can find a way to watch every game, this is great for the many out of state fans UK has (looking at you, Josh Hopkins). While they may not get some of the FSN games, they know for a fact they will get to see many of the games, especially the big ones.  And if I know Kentucky fans like I think I do, most of them will find a way to watch them all, out of state or not. You know what else this many nationally televised games is good for? Recruiting. As if Cal needs any more advantages.  Top ten recruits, you want exposure? COME ON DOWN.   @AFlenerKSR
