Dustin Beggs pitched seven strong innings of one-run ball, but Kentucky's offense struggled to back him up. The only runs of the day came in the 7th and 8th when UK manufactured runs on a passed ball and an error. Kentucky's 2-1 lead lasted for about ten minutes, as Bryan Reynolds roped a go-ahead two RBI single in the bottom half of the eighth. Ben Bowden finished the game off for Vanderbilt in the ninth as Kentucky fell 3-2. We will have a full recap this evening from Nashville.
