That's a very bright light. Someone should do something about that. Go Cats. --- Montrezl Harrell hopes to make a decision as soon as possible, according to our friend Steve Scott. Harrell's father said Coach Antigua called from UK to let them know the Cats are interested. Harrell has also received calls from Louisville, Alabama, NC State, Connecticut, Florida, and Cincinnati. He plans to take 3 or 4 visits. --- Archie Goodwin was named runner-up for Best on Twitter in's Toasting the Class of 2012. Nerlens Noel was named "Most likely to land an acting role." No award was given for best hair, unfortunately. --- is churning out Kentucky-friendly articles today and we have another one from Sam Amick, who calls Marquis Teague one of the 11 safe bets of the NBA Draft.
Marquis Teague, Kentucky, freshman point guard (6-2, 189): With the way the NBA is being ruled by the Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook types, point guards who can't defend are being exposed more than ever. Teague has the ability to slow speedy point guards while applying pressure himself. While his regular-season numbers weren't spectacular (10 points on 41.2 percent shooting, 4.8 assists and 2.7 turnovers), he produced better when it counted most (13.3 points on 45.9 percent shooting, 4.8 assists and 2.5 turnovers in six NCAA tournament games). He could be a quality pick late in the first round. projects Teague to go to Memphis with the 25th overall pick. --- Moving on to a local news story.... After shootings left three dead in Louisville yesterday afternoon, there is more gunfire coming from the west end today. There is currently a SWAT team situation going down near Shawnee High School after shots were exchanged between a 15-year-old and a suspect who has barricaded himself in from police.
