Today's UK Fans of the Day are on a balcony overlooking Washington DC. They have a very good 'C-A-T-S' technique and they demanded this afternoon's notes and podcast. --- It's a big week for UK basketball recruiting, as Shabazz Muhammad and Nerlens Noel are scheduled to announce their decisions on Wednesday. Kentucky is the favorite for Noel but UCLA is putting up a good fight for Muhammad. If the Cats get Noel, expect a great team next season. If the Cats get both, tell everyone in college basketball to get out of Kentucky's way. --- UK football will be struggling on the defensive end next season, especially now that seven players have left the team from that side of the ball since last season. The biggest name, Tim Patterson, was one of the top recruits out of Louisville's Central High School and his departure, along with Ridge Wilson's, shows Joker may have lost his recruiting edge in the city of Louisville. --- The YMCA in Maysville is very proud of a former daycare attendee: Just saying. --- Kelenna Azubuike is back in the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks, thanks to the departure of Lamar Odom. The Mavs called 'Buike up from the D-League  just hours after the team parted ways with Odom. Azubuike was signed as a free agent on March 23 and immediately assigned to the Texas Legends. He hasn't played in an NBA game since early in the 2009-10 season. --- Also from the league, Antoine Walker retired from basketball over the weekend. His finally game was a win over the Bakersfield Jam with the Idaho Stampede. He scored six points off the bench. --- Does anyone know why Trent Johnson left LSU for TCU? Anyone? No? Someone has to know. --- On today's radio show, Matt discussed the big week for UK basketball recruiting and discussed which players he believes should have their jerseys hung from the rafters.
