UK fined $25k
Nothing in this life is free and, with the NCAA, that's especially true. For the field-rushing fan fiesta Saturday evening against South Carolina, the University of Kentucky was fined $25,000. It is the fourth time that UK has been fined for having fans rush the field, with the most recent being the upset of eventual national champion LSU in 2007. The other occasions were earlier in 2007 after Stevie Got Loose and in 2006 after beating Georgia. I don't write the checks, but I say it's worth it.
