UK Football Flexes Its Brain Muscles

I'm sure you've all been waiting on pins and needles for the release of this year's list of National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Hampshire Honor Society selectees and I am proud to tell you friends, that wait is over! The NFF Hampshire Honor Society recognizes college football players across every division who graduate from school and have maintained at least a 3.2 GPA all the way through. Of the 721 players chosen from the 232 eligible schools, the Wildcats had three. The comprises half of the SEC's total number and marks the Cats as the only team to have multiple selections. The Kentucky players honored were Stuart Hines, Antwane Glenn and Billy Joe Murphy. Not only is this a nice thing to put on a resume for our recently departed Cats, the society is one of the only organizations to grant postgraduate scholarships based on factors involving academic success, football performance and community service. It may not be the most widely known honor out there, but this is a great accomplishment for these three guys. Keep doing us proud, fellas.
