This is the KSR research team's attempt at creating a visual of season tickets sales in 2009 compared to season ticket sales for the upcoming 2012 season. Now, before you disprove the team's hard work and design for its inaccuracy, please take into consideration that the KSR research team has no experience or background in research and/or design. These diagrams were created with mental math, minimal effort, and mediocre photoshop skills in an attempt to provide a visual of the disparity in season tickets over the past four seasons. As of Sunday, UK had sold 35,486 season tickets, down 27% from 2011 and down 37% from the record 56,440 when the season started in 2009, according to a report from the Herald-Leader. UK has seen sales drop in each of the past three seasons, but this year's 27% plunge is more than twice as much as the drops in 2010 and 2011. UK spokesman Dewayne Peevy attributes the decline in season ticket sales to the economy, the new television package, and the performance on the field. Discuss.
