It's been known for a good bit that the Cats would open the season in Nashville against their favorite cousin from Bowling Green, but the date was finally set yesterday for
Thursday, September 1st. The weekday debut of Operation: Win 2.0 will take place at LP Field and was bumped to Thursday due to Tennessee State's game with the Southern Jaguars. This could give the Cats some flexibility for picking up some better TV coverage, but it's really going to mess with Drew Franklin's drinking schedule.
