Finally, the UK Hoops losing streak is over.
Matthew Mitchell's women traveled down to Gainesville on Thursday to take on the Florida Gators and they will return to Lexington with a win, their first since beating Evansville on December 5.
Taylor Murray was UK's leading scorer with 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field. JUCO transfer Amanda Paschal was the only other Wildcat in double figures with her 12 points off the bench.
Kentucky
had lost eight straight games before taking down Florida, 56-53.
They will travel to Vanderbilt on Monday to try to start a new streak: a winning one.
