Well, it's not all good news in the world of Kentucky basketball this weekend.
Matthew Mitchell's Hoops squad was down in Baton Rouge today, and lost a tough one to LSU, 77-72. UK entered the half down 11, 43-32, and despite closing the gap late, just couldn't pull it out in the end. A'dia Mathies had 20 points and 6 rebounds for the Cats, while Theresa Plaisance of the Lady Tigers had 20 points and 13 rebounds in the win.
The Cats will only have a few days to work out the kinks, as they're on the road yet again on Thursday at Ole Miss.
