Kentucky lost its starting left tackle, Landon Young, a week before the season began. Now Young's backup, Naasir Watkins, is out with an injury as well. According to Mark Stoops, Watkins "will be out for a while," after suffering a left knee injury in Saturday's game against South Carolina. "He'll be out several weeks," Stoops said Monday, as he expected. With Watkins out, E.J. Price, who had been sharing the left tackle responsibilities with Watkins, becomes the full-time starter. True freshman Darrian Kinnard made his way onto the depth chart as the second-string option behind Price. Kinnard will back up both tackles.
