While the rest of us are preoccupied with the 2015 class, John Calipari is making more moves with his 2016 prospects. According to Ben Roberts, Calipari offered five-star small forward Miles Bridges tonight after watching him put up 37 points and 14 rebounds in his final game at the EYBL event in Lexington this past weekend.
Bridges has Kentucky in his final five, along with Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa State, and North Carolina. Over the weekend, he admitted to Kyle Tucker he was waiting for an offer from the Cats.
“They say I play just like (fellow Michigan native and UK alum) James Young. They say I’ll fit in just like he did,” Bridges said. “I’m patient right now. I’ll probably just wait until after the summer (to pick a school). I think they’re just trying to figure out who they’re after.”
