UK Recruits Make Naismith Watch List

by:Dustin Rumbaugh12/20/09
Lost in the shuffle of the past week was the news that two of Kentucky's recruits made the final 10 for the Boy's High School Basketball Naismith Award. The list is compiled by leading basketball journalists from around the country (meaning none of us got a vote). Both of UK's prospects to make the list are, no big surprise here, point guards. Brandon Knight and Josh Selby are two of three point guards to make the list (Kyrie Irving) and the only remaining prospects on the list that are still undecided in their college destination. Former Kentucky targets Will Barton, Harrison Barnes and Tobias Harris also made the list. In February, the same group of fat old journalists will sit down with their massive spread of hospitality buffet food and trim the list to five. Roy Williams  and North Carolina are the proud recipients of two commitments from the list.
