We're saddened to inform you that Bob Wiggins, one of Kentucky basketball's biggest supporters, has passed away. John Calipari announced the news on Twitter, telling his followers, "Extremely sad day for the #BBN. Super fan Bobby Wiggins passed away this morning. One of the kindest people I've ever met. Bobby's streak of attending our games was unbelievable. Praying for him and his family." Mitch Barnhart tweeted, "We're all so sad to hear of Bob Wiggins' passing. I've been so thankful for his friendship and support over the years. He will be missed." Wiggins began following the Cats in the 1940s as a young man in Pendleton County. He attended over 1,650 games in his lifetime, going entire decades without missing a game, home or away. His personal best was one 19-year streak of catching every single game in that span. He truly was UK basketball's "Super Fan."
