dsc_0571.jpeg Photo courtesy of Clay Jackson, the BEST pics of UK Football around From UK, today we find out this about the thrilling UK-UL contest: Kentucky’s thrilling 40-34 Governor’s Cup victory over Louisville drew the highest rating in the history of ESPN Classic, according to Dave Brown, ESPN vice-president for programming. The game’s final national rating was .78, but jumped to 1.84 for the last 30 minutes, as UK engineered a last-minute touchdown drive to earn the win. The thing to remember (and what folks like Rick Bozich should keep in mind) is that this rating DOES NOT INCLUDE THE CITIES OF LEXINGTON AND LOUISVILLE, where the game played on local television. This actually makes the rating even more amazing, and proof that the game did reach a national audience.....despite what others may say.
