UK unlikely the move for Belmont transfer Adam Kunkel

Unless things take a sudden turn in the next 24 hours, the University of Kentucky will not be the next spot for Adam Kunkel's college basketball career.
The All-OVC guard out of Belmont has a long list of schools that reached out once he entered the NCAA's transfer portal earlier this week, including Kentucky, but sources tell KSR that Kentucky's interest isn't as high as others on Kunkel's list. He hasn't even spoken with John Calipari directly.

Now the lifelong UK fan from Hebron is ready to move on with his decision somewhere that's not Lexington. He has to get ready for fall semester at a new school and an announcement is expected as soon as this weekend.
Wherever Kunkel lands, that school will be getting a solid guard who averaged 16.5 points per game as a sophomore at Belmont last season.
