A.J. Reed took the mound tonight against the Cards The nation's #1 ranked baseball team took the field tonight against their bitter rivals - the Louisville Cardinals.  Neither school is known for their baseball prowess, but don't let that fool you.  This rivalry continues on through all sports. For evidence, it was reported that tonight was the highest attendance of the season for UK, at 3,563 folks. Unfortunately for the top ranked Cats, they fell to the Cards 12-0.  Ouch.  That hurts.  Prepare for Card fans trying to find solace in their Final Four loss by chanting "over! rated!" across the interwebs. KSRcollege's David Mullow, John Wilmhoff, and Ashley Scoby and KSR's own Stuart Hammer ran the live blog over at KSRcollege.com. It was a depressing evening for Wildcat sports, as the Cardinals hung the most runs on this team that they have seen all season.  Previously, the worst loss had come against Tennessee, 4-1, with the Cats only totaling 4 hits.  Tonight, the Cats gave up 17 hits and only tallied 4 hits for themselves.
