The Kentucky men’s soccer team will have to wait until the spring to beat Duke again.

UK just announced that Friday’s match between the Cats and the Blue Devils has been postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests and appropriate quarantine procedures of close contacts on Kentucky’s side. The action is consistent with COVID-19 management requirements developed by the SEC Medical Guidance Task Force.

Kentucky beat Duke 4-2 back on September 21, its first win of the season. The Cats are 5-1 on the year and undefeated at home. Friday was supposed to be their final match of the fall season, but instead, it’ll be pushed to the spring when play resumes. Until then, we’ll enjoy the highlights of the last match because it’s always fun beating Duke.
