UK Walk Ons Strike Back

by:Matt Jones07/02/06
As I first reported on here back in May, Kentucky does indeed have a new walk on this year by the name of Trey Frazier. What is interesting about this walk on is that very few, if any, people really know anything about him. Unlike say Cameron Mills or Preston Lemaster who were in-state stars, Frazier comes to Kentucky and no one really knows who or what he is. I attempted to do some research and googled the fellow. I found out quickly that he is not this Trey Frazier who practices law and seems like a person who you would want representing you if you were in Northeast Louisiana. So I kept searching and quickly found out that there are some solid baseball players in Plano, Texas, and one of their finest is apparently Trey Frazier. But unfortunately this kid is also not going to be on our team (although Coach Cohen should keep his eye out for him) And unfortunately, I realized that he is not this Trey Frazier, who finished in second place at the Highland Law K-1 poster competition a competition world renowned in the poster community. However, even after these failed attempts, I did not give up and soon found this news story that suggests that Frazier once went for 60 in a high school game. In that game he hit 10 of 12 three pointers and generally lit up whatever lame opposing team he was playing. While I havent seen Frazier play and would never suggest he will even help Kentucky, scoring 60 isnt easy in any game that is not bowling. And in all seriousness, a couple of people have told me that Trey looks good this summer. Of course I also heard for four years that Josh Carrier could shoot threes in the summer and you see where that got us.
