UK Women's team off to best start in school history with 52-point win

by:Bryan1312/13/09
The UK women's team hit the floor today looking to tie the school record for wins to start a season, and they responded with a dominating 91-39 win over Florida A&M, a team that had beaten Florida earlier this season.  The Cats are now 9-0, and they will go for the outright school record against.....drumroll please....defending national runner-up Louisville next Sunday in Memorial Coliseum.  The Cats had 4 players in double figures, and another 2 players with 9 points.  They outscored the Rattlers 44-10 in the 2nd half, and forced 28 turnovers overall, as they are one of the Top 10 nationally in that category. Next Sunday, the UK Athletic Dept. is calling for a pack the house game against the Chin-Strap Bearded Ladies from Louisville, and I think everybody should oblige.  Get out to Memorial in 7 days and watch the Cats break the school record and continue their surge to becoming a consistent force in the SEC.
