UK's Famous Fans Talk Cats

by:Matt Jones03/22/10
wewe Two interesting articles from the New York Times today about UK's famous fans and their thoughts on the team. First, this piece on Ashley Judd in which she says that Calipari is the perfect coach for the UK fanbase and gives her thoughts on Gillispie. She said he had an "ism" and that he was not a good fit for UK. Both are obvious points, but Ashley is still Ashley and the picture above is nice. She says she is going to sneak off from Harvard to go to Syracuse for the games this weekend. Good stuff. Then there is this article on Drake, UK's newest famous fan. About the Kentucky team, Drake says "this is my family" and talks about how he hopes to follow the Cats for the rest of the NCAA Tournament. Good stuff from Drake, who says he is "proud of the boys" for how they have played so far. Eddie Montgomery could not be reached for comment.
