Anthony underwent surgery to repair a partially torn meniscus in his right knee and he will not return to the court for another four to six weeks. Anthony was leading his team with 19.1 points and 3.6 assists per game prior to the injury, and he is in consideration for the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft. In UNC's first game without him this past weekend, the Tar Heels suffered a stunning loss to Wofford College, 68-64, in the Dean Dome. No. 2 Gonzaga is up next on the schedule tomorrow night in Spokane (Gonzaga by 50) and then Kentucky fans will get a firsthand look at the Anthony-less Tar Heels when UNC meets UCLA in the first game of the CBS Sports Classic doubleheader on Saturday. Tough news for the Heels.
