Update on Kentucky Sports Radio

Many of you may have noticed in the last few days that Rob and I have not been on the air in our normal time slot with The Sports Mob. This has led to a lot of questions and speculation from folks, so we wanted to have a chance to address it here. Beginning on Monday, August 20, the time slot that we occupied will be filled by Johnny "The Freak" Renshaw and his local show. From the beginning of our radio endeavors, Rob and I have hoped to do a University of Kentucky-based radio show across the Bluegrass. At this time we are in the process of continuing to try to make that hope a reality and we should have some indication within the next few days as to what our radio future will hold. In the mean time, we are hopefully close to also announcing an exciting new media relationship that will really be the culmination of a lot of work that we have put in over the last couple of years. However until then, just hang with us as we go through these next few days. The blog will still be here and we will be updating it regularly. We hope to have an announcement about both our radio future and our potential new endeavor very soon. Until then, thanks for all your support of the site. And oh yeah, Nemanja Calasan (the JUCO big man once rumored to be looking at Kentucky) signed with Purdue.....
