The pre-season college basketball picks continue to come out and today the USA Today released their prognostications for this year. Once you get past the insanely ridiculous piece about the Big East being so great (I'll rant more on thate later), you find a panel discussion about what to expect this year in the SEC. While it seems that
the panelists can't decide if they think Florida or Tennessee will win, they all agree that Patrick Patterson is the best player in the league. They'll get no argument from me on that, but I think Florida and Tennessee (and even Bama in this case) are getting a little too much pre-season love. I'll fully admit being a homer, but I think the Cats have as good of a shot of winning the conference as anyone and while both of the other East teams are talented, the Cats shouldn't be written off just yet.
