Vanderbilt Loses Fisher-Davis for the Rest of the Season
A bad season just got a lot worse for Vanderbilt.
Vanderbilt’s second-leading scorer will miss the rest of the season. Bryce Drew announced senior guard Matthew Fisher-Davis suffered a right shoulder injury against Kentucky that will keep him out of action indefinitely.
Fisher-Davis averages 11.9 points per game for the 7-12 Commodores. Only Jeff Roberson scores more for with 15.1 points per game. Fisher-Davis only made 33 percent of his three-pointers this season, but throughout his career he made 269, which is sixth on Vanderbilt’s all-time list. Unfortunately, his NCAA Tournament flub is probably how we’ll be remembered.
