VOTE: Which KSR Football Podcaster Drafted the Best UK Defense?

After six years, Mark Stoops finally has a dominant defense.  The Cats are currently tied for third in the nation in scoring defense by allowing just 12.6 points per game. Josh Allen is the poster child for UK's defense.  He leads the conference in sacks and tackles for loss, and has been named the nation's top edge defender through the first half of the 2018 season.  Allen has been elite, but what makes this Kentucky defense great is its balance. The Cats have picked off six passes, fourth-most in the SEC.  Darius West and Kash Daniel each have 37 tackles, tied for sixth in the SEC.  West leads the SEC in passes defended with seven; the only reason Derrick Baity does not have more than four is because teams are afraid to throw at him.  Even the reserves have made an impact -- Marquan McCall has forced a fumble and Tyrell Ajian has picked off a pass. The depth on defense inspired The KSR Football Podcast to create a fantasy-style snake draft.  There were quite a few difficult decisions made on the most recent episode.
Team Chuck Team Franklin Team Mac
Josh Allen Darius West Jordan Jones
Derrick Baity Mike Edwards Kash Daniel
Chris Westry Boogie Watson Lonnie Johnson Jr.
Calvin Taylor Jr. Chris Oats Quinton Bohanna
Each team is stacked, but who had the best draft?  Charles Walker has the defense's brightest star, Austin MacGinnis picked the nastiest team but you cannot overlook Drew's elite secondary.  Now it's your turn to decide: who has the best four UK defensive players? [mobile_ad]
