Its always an exciting day when you are a college basketball player and you get to go to Las Vegas and party with your coach. Or at least that is what I hear as I didnt play college basketball and if I had, Don Lane likely wouldnt have been at Proof. But that is not the case if you are a UL player and your
coach is Waltah "to the Altah" McCarty. Apparently a Las Vegas newspaper reported that McCarty joined Juan Palacios (pictured above) and David Padgett out on the town in Vegas after curfew hours. The UL folks originally denied, then pictures came out and they went from outrage to "well it isnt that big of a deal." I tend to agree with them as the two players there were both over 21 and injured, thus making it unlikely the loss to BYU was affected. Plus anyone who lives in Louisville knows that seeing Walter McCarty at a bar isnt exactly difficult since he and Steve Masiello are the Louisville equivalent of the "Night at the Roxbury" guys. Still the pictures are funny, if for no other reason than to show that if you are a UL basketball player, you likely will end up with a scary looking woman.
