It took him entirely too long to announce his decision but Dave Wannstedt said today that he will not coach Pitt in the BBVA Compass Bowl against Kentucky.  Wannstedt leaves Pitt coachless just 5 days before the game.  If you were paying attention over the weekend, you know that Pittsburgh just fired its recently hired head coach Mike Haywoodyouquithittingme for felony domestic battery. As of now, Pitt Defensive Coordinator Phil Bennett will be the interim head coach.  But he still has time to get out of there before Randall Cobb ends his career. Go Cats.
