On their first day in Cairo, P.J. Washington and Hamidou Diallo led Team USA to a 89-66 exhibition victory over Lithuania.  Washington led all scorers with 18 points while Diallo scored 17 points. "Hami didn’t play for me last year, he practiced, so this is all new. But, he’s going to be fine," John Calipari said after the game. "P.J. Washington is what he is, he’s a beast." Facing unfamiliar competition, the first exhibition did what it was supposed to, kick off the rust. "I felt good. That’s the first time in an official game in a long time, and I felt good," Diallo said.  "I think I played well, but I’ve got to get better on a bunch of things, I’m still a little rusty, but I felt  like I played well and helped my team come up with a W." Team USA will play another exhibition tomorrow against one of the best teams in the tournament, France.  For more on today's game, check out USA Basketball's recap.
