It's official: Dekel Crowdus is a Kentucky Wildcat. The four-star wide receiver chose the Cats over nine other finalists: Oklahoma, Baylor, Texas, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Ohio State, Michigan, Ole Miss and South Carolina. Recruiting extraordinaire Vince Marrow did it again. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Crowdus could not have the usual commitment ceremony a recruit of his caliber typically enjoys. However, he still had a pretty impressive video made to announce his decision on Twitter. The video includes several highlights from his standout high school career, as well as highlights from the programs he was considering (including a Lynn Bowden cameo). "For the next three to four years, I will be taking my talents to... the University of Kentucky," he says near the end of the clip. The birthday boy pulls the words "Kentucky football" out of his cake in front of a few friends and family members.
