WATCH: Denzel Aberdeen, Jasper Johnson talk Gonzaga loss, booing, and team effort
A couple of Wildcats spoke with reporters on Monday to talk about Kentucky’s latest loss to a ranked opponent.
Senior guard Denzel Aberdeen and freshman guard Jasper Johnson sat down with local media to go over what went wrong during Kentucky’s 35-point loss to Gonzaga on Friday in Nashville. Both players addressed the boos from the Big Blue Nation that rained down on Bridgestone Arena early and often against Gonzaga. They were also asked about the team’s overall effort levels, what needs to change to get this season back on track, and plenty more.
