Eastern Kentucky men’s basketball has solidified its spot on tomorrow’s SportsCenter Top 10 plays list.

On Friday night, Colonels’ senior guard Cooper Robb, a native of Georgetown, KY, drilled a halfcourt buzzer-beating three-pointer to take down Georgia State 62-61. Georgia State missed a free throw up two points with just 5.4 seconds left as Robb grabbed the rebound, dribbled up to halfcourt, and launched a prayer that hit nothing but net.

EKU was actually down five points with under 30 seconds left in the game. Georgia State had the ball but turned it over on an errant pass in the backcourt. The Colonels then hit a three from the top of the key (after missing on a perfectly executed play for an open triple from the corner) that cut the lead down to two. EKU then fouled Georgia State, and, well, just watch the rest for yourself…

The locker room celebration was pretty good too…
