Kentucky completely controlled the first half against Mississippi State, then took its foot off the gas to force the Big Blue Nation to sweat out an 82-74 overtime victory over the Bulldogs from Starkville.
Oscar Tshiebwe cleaned the glass, posting an outstanding 21 points and 22 rebounds. Dontaie Allen provided quality minutes off the bench and Kellan Grady played the role of hero down the stretch, scoring eight of UK’s ten points in overtime.
