WATCH: Jared Lorenzen’s emotional Periscope following Kentucky’s win over Florida
Former Kentucky quarterback and KSR podcaster Jared Lorenzen is very, very passionate about his football Cats.
In three tries between 2000 and 2003, Lorenzen lost to the Florida Gators by a combined 38 points, losing each time. In the 2002 matchup, Lorenzen’s Wildcats lost 41-34, and in 2003 his team lost 24-21, both losses coming in devastating fashion.
If there’s one individual who absolutely despises the Gators and begged for this streak to end, it was the Hefty Lefty.
Luckily for us, we got to see his reaction as the game went final, including the Josh Allen forced fumble, Davonte Robinson’s touchdown return, and the call confirmation as the clock struck zero.
His teary-eyed, moonshine-drinking Periscope is priceless:

Awesome, right?
And then, things got a bit more serious, as Lorenzen posted a follow-up Periscope talking about thinking this streak would never end and how grateful he is that day has finally come.
You’re lying if you say you don’t get emotional watching this:

I still can’t believe the streak is broken.
