Watching John Calipari Run could be a Sport
John Calipari is more than a coach on the sidelines, he's an entertainer. He shouts, stomps and flails his hands like few others, creating an atmosphere that can often be described as hilarious, regardless of what's happening in between the lines. Turns out, he's even more entertaining in between the lines.
During Team USA shoot-arounds, the coaches take turns trying to beat the players in a half-court shootout. After Danny Manning hit one under-handed from half-court, Calipari could not contain his emotions. He paraded around the court like the leader of a marching band.
