screen-shot-2016-10-12-at-10-39-51-am It's hard to have a better rookie season than Karl Towns did. Karl averaged 18.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks last season, making him the unanimous choice for Rookie of the Year, only the fifth time that's happened in league history. Yet, Karl's kicked it into another gear this offseason, going through a strenuous training regime to prepare for his second season. NBA.com has a look inside one of his workouts, and just watching the video makes me tired. "Championships never came easy," Karl says in the video. "I'm going to need to set new standards, new limits for myself so I can be a better player for my team this year." Over the first two games of the preseason, Karl's had 24 points and 16 rebounds. The Wolves play the Nuggets tonight and the Heat Saturday night at the Yum Center in Louisville. See you there.
