Waylon, Shooter and the Boys
From the "only with Kentucky basketball" world of videos, here is a great YouTube clip of the 1988 UK basketball team hanging out with Waylon Jennings and an 8 year old Scooter Jennings before their game with Vanderbilt the next night. There are a lot of fascinating things here, from the little version of Shooter to a smiling Rex to Sean Sutton hanging in the background. You got Eddie singing and everyone happy as they can be....with no hint of what is to come in the next year. Still a cool video....and if it happened today, what would we see. Ramel Bradley crooning some tunes with Randy Travis while Gillispie sings in the background. Who knows....
