Maybe its the calm before the storm, but it is good news nonetheless.
Wayne Turner has joined the UK Basketball Staff this season, taking over for Scott Padgett in an Undergraduate Assistant role that he will share with Tony Delk. Turner is finishing up his studies at UK this year and will now be part of the staff, working in pre and post practice drills with the UK guards. Turner was one of my favorite Cats during his day and has been a fixture in and around the campus over the past year. We congratulate him on the gig and wish him well on getting started in a coaching career.
