SEC Games

South Carolina 34 UMass 28

https://twitter.com/SECNetwork/status/789879968037830656 Freshman Jake Bentley became the third player to play at quarterback for the Gamecocks in their 6 point win over UMass. Bentley passed for 201 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Gamecock defense was able to force 4 turnovers, which was a key in their victory. Next up, UMass faces Wagner, while South Carolina welcomes Tennessee into Columbia.

Alabama 33 Texas A&M 14

https://twitter.com/SEConCBS/status/789960149402214400 Alabama continues to dominate the SEC. Jalen Hurts led the way for the Crimson Tide by passing for 164 yards and adding 93 more on the ground. Alabama also scored a non-offensive touchdown for the 10th straight game with Jonathan Allen's 30 yards fumble return for a touchdown. The Tide will be on a bye next week before a MASSIVE showdown in Death Valley with LSU, while Texas A&M will try to get back on track against New Mexico State.

Middle Tennessee State 51 Missouri 45

https://twitter.com/SECNetwork/status/789935284704124928 As I mentioned in my preview, MTSU very well could win this game if they were able to run the ball against Missouri. I'Tavius Mathers did just that. He rushed for 215 yards and a touchdown. The Missouri defense continues to struggle as they gave up 584 yards to MTSU. If a positive could be found, it would be the play of Damarae Crockett who rushed for 156 yards and 4 touchdowns. Next up, MTSU visits FIU, while Missouri welcomes in the Cats for a MASSIVE SEC East showdown.

Auburn 56 Arkansas 3

https://twitter.com/SECNetwork/status/789975451502600192 I predicted Auburn to win, but I did not predict them to win by as much as they did. I mentioned that the key for Auburn to win would be to run the ball and did they ever do that. The Tigers rushed the ball 57 times for 543 yards. Defensively, the Tigers held Arkansas to only 25 yards rushing. Arkansas will have a week to get back on track before facing the Gators in Fayetteville, while Auburn will look to continue to run the football against a struggling Ole Miss defense.

Vanderbilt 35 Tennessee State 17

https://twitter.com/VandyFootball/status/790041371025498112 The key for Vanderbilt to avoid being upset was getting the ball to Ralph Webb and Khari Blasingame. The two combine for 225 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Commodores 35-17 win over Tennessee State. Vanderbilt carried only a 3 point lead into the half before opening the game up in the second half. Next up, Vanderbilt will have a week off before visiting a hot Auburn team.

LSU 38 Ole Miss 21

https://twitter.com/SECNetwork/status/790010114833051648 Leonard Fournette returned in a MASSIVE way in LSU's big win over Ole Miss. Fournette rushed for 284 yards and 3 touchdowns on only 16 carries. Fournette's three touchdowns were all on runs of 59 or more. Ole Miss' defensive woes continued as they did not have an answer for Fournette and company. The Rebel defense will be facing off against a hot Auburn rushing attack next week, while LSU has a bye week before a game against Alabama.
