SEC Games

Alabama 48 Ole Miss 43

https://twitter.com/BamaVine/status/777288059079495680 A game of runs. Fans were freaking out early as Ole Miss jumped out to a 24-3 lead with 2:47 remaining in the first half. With a blink of an eye, the Tide led 48-30 with 5:28 left in the game. Ole Miss ended up scoring 13 points within a period of 8 seconds and brought the game within 5. The Alabama rushing attack was the key for the win as Damien Harris and Jalen Hurts combined for 290 yards on the ground.

Arkansas 42 Texas State 3

https://twitter.com/ArkRazorbacks/status/777513030976274432 Austin Allen passed for 241 yards and 2 touchdowns in a little over a half of football and Rawleigh Williams added 121 yards on the ground in the Razorbacks dominating win. Arkansas has a big game next week against Texas A&M in their SEC opener.

Texas A&M 29 Auburn 16

https://twitter.com/CaseyBake16/status/777334737148993536 Texas A&M dominated this game. Trevor Knight passed for 247 yards and Trayveon Williams rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown. A massive showdown is now in place for A&M as they will face Arkansas.

Florida 32 North Texas 0

https://twitter.com/GatorsFB/status/777537808420319232 The Gators had a dominating win over North Texas. Four different players had a rushing touchdown in their 32-0 victory. The main story leaving Gainesville is the health of Luke Del Rio who left with a left knee injury. This will play a huge part ahead of the Gators showdown in Knoxville next week.

Georgia 28 Missouri 27

https://twitter.com/SECNetwork/status/777348212499832832 Jacob Eason threw the game winning touchdown pass to Isaiah McKenzie with 1:29 remaining for the Bulldogs to survive. For Missouri, Drew Lock passed for 3 touchdowns and 376 yards, but did throw 3 interceptions. This game should make Kentucky fans worried. Missouri looked like a game the Cats very well could win, but with what we have seen from Missouri through the first three weeks, that may not be the case.

LSU 23 Mississippi State 20

https://twitter.com/SECNetwork/status/777311842205044737 LSU held off a ferocious Mississippi State comeback to defeat the Bulldogs 23-20. Leonard Fournette returned to rush for 147 yards and 2 touchdowns. For me, the story of the game was LSU holding Mississippi State to only 56 yards rushing. Nick Fitzgerald was unable to grow on his performance from last week, while Danny Etling played well for LSU.

Tennessee 28 Ohio 19

https://twitter.com/ThePUPListBlog/status/777218598251163652 Tennessee, once again, kept a game closer than it really should have been. The game was within 2 early in the fourth quarterback before Josh Malone caught his second touchdown pass of the game. Tennessee will have to be play better next week as they welcome Florida in for College GameDay.

Georgia Tech 38 Vanderbilt 7

https://twitter.com/JonJeffries/status/777213557033332740 I could not have been any more wrong on "Gorm's Guess" for this game. I predicted Vanderbilt to win by three. Georgia Tech dominated the entire game. After a huge game against MTSU, Ralph Webb was rather non-existent, rushing for only 69 yards on 18 carries. Georgia Tech had two passing touchdowns of at least 77 yards and Dedrick Mills rushed for 3 touchdowns. Vanderbilt has a lot of questions heading into next week's game in Bowling Green against WKU.

South Carolina 20 East Carolina 15

https://twitter.com/SECNetwork/status/777266309377712128 Entering the game, I put the Gamecocks on upset alert. If it wasn't for some important stops by the South Carolina defense, they would easily be 1-2 before next week's game in Lexington. The Gamecocks were able to force 4 turnovers, but did give up 400 passing yards.

Other Games of Note

Louisville 63 Florida State 20

https://twitter.com/BeforeFamePics2/status/777220322449723392 College GameDay showed up and so did Louisville. They gave Florida State one of their worst losses in school history. Lamar Jackson jumped to the front of everybody's Heisman list and for good reason. Louisville looks like a legitimate CFP contender. Note: I made the trip to Louisville to experience College GameDay for the first time. Nick Roush put together a post with some of the pictures I took. For more, you can check out my Twitter @GormleyKSR.

Michigan State 36 Notre Dame 28

https://twitter.com/ThePUPListBlog/status/777340847088099328 Michigan State was able to take advantage of 3 Notre Dame turnovers in their upset win over the Fighting Irish. The Spartans dominated the time of possession holding the ball for 37:57, while also accounting for 100 more yards than the Irish. Next week, the Spartans welcome in Wisconsin, while Notre Dame will welcome in Duke.

Ohio State 45 Oklahoma 24

https://twitter.com/ThePUPListBlog/status/777337341652467712 Oklahoma went into the game needing a win to keep their CFP hopes alive. Ohio State had a different thought though. JT Barrett threw 4 touchdowns, all to Noah Brown, who also made the miraculous catch seen above. Oklahoma scheduled two big non-conference games in their first three games of the year and did not perform in either one. Next week, the Buckeyes welcome in Rutgers, while Oklahoma heads to TCU in another tough game for the Sooners.
