Well, Moving On
I'm not one for rah-rah speeches, plus I'm in a pretty crappy mood (what, with the weather and all), but I would like to heartily encourage you to make your way to Commonwealth tonight to honor our seniors. It's going to be cold, wet, and windy, but damn it, those guys deserve to hear the fwomp! fwomp! sound that gloved hands make when clapping.
Plus, it's Vandy. I know they have a lot of (m)athletes and a solid squad, but they're Vandy. We're still us, and they're still them---and that's the only SEC team we can say that to!
I realize I'm in no position to be telling others what to do, and you could be old and afraid that cold weather might kill you. Still, if you don't go tonight, you'll go to hell. I'm sorry, I don't make the rules. I know how easy it would be to sit at home and watch this game on the deuce, peeing in your warm bathroom whenever you want and laughing at all the hilariously layered a-holes standing because it's too cold to sit. Don't fall for it! That's the work of the devil!
Do the right thing. DLII and co. deserve it.
