What Can you say? Vandy beats UK 67-65

by:Matt Jones02/25/07
mbb_022007_tubby_bradley2.jpeg Continuing its tradition of poor execution down the stretch, UK made poor decision after poor decision in the last three minutes, losing a four point lead and the potential for a big win, falling to Vandy 67-65. There was a lot to be happy about today but so much more to make one frustrated. Whether it was the team looking as if it were totally lost when the team went zone, Randolph Morris' continued disappearing act or the utter frenzy of the last set play, Kentucky made us all once again shake our heads in disbelief. When you watch this team, you feel like they are just so close to making a big play or getting a big win....but then in the end, the team falls apart and another loss adds up. When Vandy went to the line for two shots, I thought to myself, "well at least at worst we are looking at overtime." And then of course, a missed free throw and we dont get the rebound. Memorial Magic strikes once again. Tough loss and very frustrating....par for the course.
